Munhall Halloween Parade 2016
Steel Valley SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions) students took their positive messages to the Munhall Halloween Parade on October 29th.
Steel Valley SADD brought the SAFETY SIMulator to Steel Valley on November 13. Mr. Seech’s, Mr. Catterall’s, and Mr. Seaman’s sophomore social studies classes had the opportunity to try out the SIMulator. Training on the SIMulator helps students gain confidence in their ability as a driver and develop an appreciation for safety. Inexperience is the leading cause of crashes among teen drivers and the SAFETY SIMulator is one way to gain additional experience behind the wheel. The cost of the SAFETY SIMUlator program was paid for by the Allegheny County Alcohol Highway Safety Program/DUI Pretrial Services Department.
Steel Valley High School student, Breanna Lewis, takes a turn in the SAFETY SIMulator while Mrs. Pamela Wahal from the Allegheny County Alcohol Safety Program / DUI Pretrial Services Department gives her some advice on safe driving skills.
