SV ALUMNI: WE NEED YOUR HELP!! We run a club called The Future is Mine and our mission is to educate high school students about the various jobs and careers that are out there. We also train them on life skills needed to be successful in the workplace. The club is for grades 9-12 students.

Here’s our idea: We need alumni who have cool jobs or different jobs to shoot a brief video of themselves at their place of work, state when they graduated from SV, state what college they went to or training they have, what their major was, what they do now and one piece of advice for HS students now to take advantage of. In turn, we will take each video and make a QR code link and place them around the High School for the HS school students to learn about the various careers! These don’t have to be perfect nor do they have to be long (no more than 1.5 minutes) but we think this could be really cool!

If you’re interested (or know someone that could help us) in helping send your video to rdunmirekuftic@steelvalleysd.org. They can also share a link of their video through Google Drive.

Thanks in advance for your support and help in bringing this project to life! Please share so that we can ensure a variety of careers.
