On May 16th, 2017 the Steel Valley Middle School 6th graders attended a field trip to Camp Guyasuta. Here, students learned to work together to accomplish various goals. The day consisted of zip lining whose course was over 13 stories high and 1000ft long, rock wall climbing, balancing and various obstacle courses. The students did an excellent job, worked together, and achieved goals through communication. “I loved this field trip! It was the best day ever,” said Kendall McConnell . “We are hoping to continue to visit Camp Guyasuta”, said 6th grade teacher Becky Kristen,” The students really shined and worked so well together.”
